Meeting three German bikers outside Port Huron, going from New York to the Mississippi and then down to the South. The first bikers I have seen since Missouri when I left the TransAmerica route at the Mississippi River crossing. Note the Germans typically do not wear helmets, often do not were gloves and their bikes have generator lights in front. Most also used Ortlieb waterproof panniers. So it was easy to identify them on the road.
