Finally left campsite at 10:00 dressed warmer than usual. I had windpants and wool shirt with a fleece pullover on. Certainly hoping that this is not a bad turn of weather. The barometer didn't change much so am not too worried. The wind over the peaks appeared to be as much as 50 mph, but ground level only gusts to 20 mph.
