Supper time finished at 10:00. Long day. This morning the climbing party passed thru from their base camp on Helen Lake. This evening they came back after climbing Mt McDuffie. They were doing a whole lot of peaks. They did McDuffie from the N ridge which was really rotten rock according to them. Found out that the 2 meter radio used had to be taken to the top of Black Giant before he could radio Bishop. This was his 3rd helocopter rescue. Wonder what kind of risk these people take? Temperature outside 38 deg at 10:00 pm. Weather is calm and clear. Total altitude gained today was 2250 ft.
