About 2/3 way up have last good view of the Ionian Basin. Lake 11939 is on the left. The outlet notch is seen on the righthand shore of the lake. Dead center in the photo is the L shaped lake where we had lunch. In the upper right is a lake which appears white from the sun reflection. This is the region that I traversed in 1984 passing from the Goddard Canyon to Evolution Valley. The next photo shows a telephoto view.
