Coming up from Sapphire Lake. The routing of the new trail stays really high compared to the old one that proceeds along the shoreline of the lake. Throughout the day we passed 2+2+1 CCC, California Conservation Corp. guys passing our way. More new trail is being put in to keep the hikers away from Wanda Lake. The wall formed by Mt Darwin is in the background.
