Hiking through meadows down to Evolution Valley. I took a cutoff to the left that bypasses about 500 ft of the trail that drops to the normal connection with the Muir Trail. Su and Hong-Nian went all the way and Jan did part of the cutoff. Getting hot in the valley so took ½ hour snack break under the trees.
