Another group that came down from Prudhoe Bay. Four Swiss Germans and a German. Again I was the foreigner in the conversations. The ferry is angling in against a 5-6 mph current. No dock is used, the ferry just jams itself into the eroding bank and holds power while passengers and freight drive off. A couple times a day a bulldozer pushes more gravel onto the docking area.
