Chrystine from Quebec who was riding to the end of S. America to promote a childrens fund. She had broken her collar bone the 1st or 2nd day of her trip starting above Fairbanks. She became a celebrity when the pipeline crews sent in a copter to fly her to the hospital in Fairbanks. Got on TV and in the news. But her trip was very unorgainzed, and it was her first attempt at touring. The only saving factor was she was going to meet her boyfriend south of the US. He was experienced, currently leading a tour in Siberia.
