Up in the morning in Bishop CA. Arrived at Piute Lodge night before. I'm still remembered as the guy from Rhode Island. Jan, Su, and Hong-Nian posing by Route 168 heading west into the mountains. Had breakfast in Bishop, and back to finish packing at 10:30. Forest fires near Reno have caused severe haze in the valley, can hardly see the mountains.
